Year 10 Work Experience 2018
- Video Game and Animation Work Experience at AIE
The Academy of Interactive Entertainment Work Experience Program is now open for 2018. AIE offer a formal program for students interested in Game Design, Game Art & Animation, 3D Animation and VFX or Game Programming.  For more information visit;
Girls at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) aimed at increasing the representation of girls in the IT industry the program focuses on Technical IT skills, Employability skills and experiences within the technology industry. IT knowledge is not required. For more information visit:   

REMINDER! Taronga Zoo – Meet the Keeper
Meet a Keeper is a one-day program for students 14 years and over who have expressed an interest in a career at the Zoo. The day includes a seminar presented by a range of Zoo staff to learn aspects of working in a zoo environment, including qualifications, career opportunities, core responsibilities, careers structures and wages. National Youth Science Forum - Inspiring Australia's Young Scientists Applications open 1 March for January 2019
Students currently in Year 11 can apply for the NYSF Year 12 Program.  It is a 12-day residential program designed to give students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage them to continue their studies in these fields.  There is a cost involved with this program.  For more information visit:  

ANU Tuckwell Scholarship – Webinar for year 12 students
The Tuckwell Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship available for a range of disciplines and degree structures at ANU. It is not just about your intellect but also about a desire and determination to use your natural abilities and to make a difference in the world.  The Scholarship offers successful students generous financial support approximately $21k/year in addition to other benefits. Business, Engineering & Technology Cadetship programs for Year 12
Professional Cadetships Australia (PCA) provides year 12 students with the opportunity to apply for a cadetship with leading companies.  The cadetships provide cadets with paid employment while they undertake university studies.  Applications are made online. Aim for the Stars Layne Beachley Foundation Scholarships - Closes 31 March
Scholarships are awarded annually in many areas including sport, science, art, music and entertainment, environment and sustainability plus business, leadership and community. Young women who have initiative and passion and are committed to achieving a dream in their field of choice are encouraged to apply.  Includes:
-       $4,000 grant
-       Two-day workshop in Sydney with Layne Beachley (domestic flights and accommodation provided) plus a ticket to the Foundation’s Gala celebration
-       A dedicated mentor for monthly one-to-one sessions

Summer in Oxford Program
The CBL International Summer In Oxford offers high school students between the ages of 14 to 19 an exclusive opportunity to catch a glimpse of studying at prestigious universities in the United Kingdom. Participants spend part of the UK summer in an academically renowned city, studying a subject of their choice, and attending workshops focusing on the university preparation and application process.  Dates are between July and August.  For more information see links below.
