Girls in Finance Panel – 12 September @ Abbotsleigh Girls School, 5-7pm
For Year 10, 11 and 12 girls who would like to learn about the variety of careers available through the study of finance. There will be a mini expo of commerce faculty representatives from a range of metropolitan universities including Sydney, UNSW, UTS, ACU and Notre Dame and a panel discussion.  Find out: What HSC subjects to do, What university courses to take, What careers are in finance that might suit you, Meet some senior females in finance and ask them your questions. Volunteer Workers required for Manly Jazz Festival – October long weekend
Northern Beaches Council are looking for Volunteers to assist at their upcoming Jazz Festival which will be held over the October long weekend during the school holidays.  All Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older.  Students are given training and a certificate for their involvement.  For more information contact, Ms Christine Watson-Brown, School Careers Adviser, cwatson-brown@staff.masada.nsw.edu.au  

UTS – Women in Engineering and IT STEM day – 12 September
For female students in Year 9 – 11. The University of Sydney – Introduction of Fixed ATARs 
The University have introduced fixed ATARs for most of their courses, to simplify the application process and make it more transparent. It removes the uncertainty about what’s required for entry. - Finance Workshop – 15 September 9.30am – 12pm

- Taste of Electrical Engineering – 25 – 27 September applications close 7 September
These three-day workshops for Year 10/11 high school students with an interest in electrical engineering.  It will give them an introduction to the basics of several electrical engineering disciplines; such as signal processing, electronics design, computer programming, and power, control and telecommunications systems.
