Museum of Contemporary Art - Young Creatives Program 

13 – 18yr old volunteers. MCA have a number of different ways students can get involved with the MCA community. From volunteering opportunities to live performance gigs and even employment. The MCA want the voices of young people to be heard and have opportunities to gain experience as well as cultivate creativity and skills. For more information visit:  

Sydney Craft Week - 6 to 15 October
Sydney Craft Week will showcase the city’s textile artists, ceramicists, metalsmiths, jewellery makers, glass artists, wood workers, furniture makers, leather crafters, paper artists, Indigenous artists and other makers, designers and craft practitioners. Interested students can gain insight into the creative process and have an opportunity to meet and support local Sydney makers, designers and craft practitioners, as well as get involved and learn some new skills. The University of Sydney – Introduction of Fixed ATARs 
The University have introduced fixed ATARs for most of their courses, to simplify the application process and make it more transparent. It removes the uncertainty about what’s required for entry. For more information and to view the list of fixed ATARs visit:  

REMINDER! Volunteer Workers required for Manly Jazz Festival – October long weekend
Northern Beaches Council are looking for Volunteers to assist at their upcoming Jazz Festival which will be held over the October long weekend during the school holidays.  All Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older.  Students are given training and a certificate for their involvement.  For more information contact, Ms Christine Watson-Brown, School Careers Adviser,
