Mr Barry Zworestine oversees students’ emotional, academic and social well being across the College from Preschool to Year 12. Barry works closely with staff, parents and students reflecting the partnership that is the basis of Masada’s ethos.
At Masada College significant resources have and continue to be dedicated to developing and providing the latest technology, assessment and diagnostic tools to understand and support how students learn as well as to develop effective strategies to support the student and facilitate more effective learning. We are aware that learning challenges face children across the spectrum, whether they are needing extension or support work. Our team work closely with parents, staff, sometimes outside support teams or the family’s specialist in order to best support students’ needs.
The Learning Support team, comprising of Mrs Ingrid Ross (Junior School), Mrs Jenny Gordon (G&T Junior school) , Mrs Sharon Bresler and Mrs Kim Turcato (Senior School), provide support both individually and within the context of the classroom. Barry and his team believe in helping students not only to be academically prepared, but to be ready for life in the fullest sense of the word. You, the parents are an important part of this team. A recent and innovative addition to the team has been Felix the trained Pet Therapy Dog who has been a favourite of many of our students.
